Adam Farmer

I'm interested in the duality of things: life and in art; the awkwardly harmonious system of controlled chaos influences my process the most as an artist, musician, and a curator. It comes along with a great deal of material sacrifice, purposeful improvisation, and , if I dare say, a spiritual relationship with "strategic hoarding" . I feel like this dynamic is embedded within the paintings and the audio/ video collages. Also, "sampling" in both mediums might just be the glue that holds the work together.
